About the event

For the first time, I am collaborating with Brewer Street Yoga - London (BSY) to offer a fantastic and varied week-long men’s clothes-free yoga and meditation retreat in Cornwall.

I'm teaming up with Matt Gough and Marc Dingle from BSY for my first UK clothes-free event and I couldn't be happier to teaming up with such a fab crew!

Who this holiday retreat is for:

This retreat is for men who are interested and eager to discover more about themselves in a safe, non-judgemental environment. It’s no problem if you haven’t done yoga or meditationbefore, or if you’re an experienced yogi who knows their way around a yoga mat - everyone is welcome at this fantastic event.

Our inspiring retreat will take place over 6 days and 5 nights in the village of Rock on the North Cornish coast, famed for its charming fishing villages, local eateries and stunning beaches, guests will be staying in a large, stunningly appointed property set within beautiful grounds and close to the Camel Estuary.

Why Naked?

Yoga is about deepening our understanding of ourselves, the world around us, and our place in that world.  Without the physical shield of clothes it's much easier to connect with that sense of self as we can more easily put aside the mental shield we all have in our daily lives. We're all on the same level, so no judgement can be made about who we are by the outward signs we choose to cover ourselves with.

Meditating and practising yoga whilst naked as a member of a group of other naked men is a life-affirming and deeply liberating experience.

Who are the other Teachers?

Matthew Gough - Brewer Street Yoga Owner & Teacher: Matthew has been teaching yoga since 2015 and practicing for more than 15 years.  As a latecomer to yoga he's particularly keen to bring yoga to people that that think yoga isn't for them:  "if I can do it, so can you"!

His yoga style is down to earth, practical, physical, straightforward. A mixture of static poses and flowing sequences, his classes are mindful but not spiritual, welcoming and accessible to everyone regardless of your belief or spirituality. There's no chanting, no sanskrit, no music, just a safe friendly environment to be who you want to be.

Marc Dingle - Brewer Street Teacher & Chef: Marc has a passion for yoga, meditation and sound healing in equal measures. Having practiced yoga for over two decades to manage the stresses of heading a thriving business spanning restaurants and cafes, he found his deeper yogic calling in 2018 upon completion of his teacher training on the beautiful island of Mallorca.

Teaching regularly, his classes and teachings have been guided towards vinyasa and the more restorative aspect of asana through yin yoga, yoga nidra and sound healing using crystal singing bowls. Combined with a sense of humour he has a fundamental understanding of the power of sound and asana practice to help us reduce stress, create a deep sense of well-being and to promote our own healing.

What's included?

  • 5 nights accommodation in a shared room (double or twin), arrive Fri afternoon, depart Wed Morning.

What to Wear/Bring:

You're welcome to be naked as much or as little as you wish (it's  compulsory for the yoga) and the house is well insulated and warm with log fires so you won't get cold!
