Who is this yoga/adventure holiday for?

This one-of-a-kind yoga and adventure break is for men who want a little more adventure into their yoga holiday.

As well as daily practices of naked yoga, you’ll have the opportunity to take windsurfing lessons with your fellow guests, as well as enjoying the stunning beaches of the Jandia Peninsula on the south of Fuerteventura … or maybe just relax by the pool for a day or two and work on that all-over tan.

It’s no problem if you haven’t done yoga or meditation before, or if you’re an experienced yogi who knows their way around a yoga mat - everyone is welcome at this is one-of-a-kind yoga and adventure experience that is simply not to be missed.

Why Naked?

Fuerteventura is famous as being the ‘naked island’... with countless beaches where we are free to bare all - it’s a paradise location for those who enjoy the clothes-free life.

Clothes-free living and the practice of naked yoga is about deepening our understanding of ourselves, the world around us, and our place in that world - without the physical shield of clothes it's much easier to connect with that sense of self as we can more easily put aside the mental shield we all have in our daily lives. We're all on the same level, so no judgement can be made about who we are by the outward signs we choose to cover ourselves with.

Meditating and practising yoga whilst naked as a member of a group of other naked men is a life-affirming and deeply liberating experience.

Whilst it is obligatory to be naked for the yoga sessions, you are of course welcome to be as naked (or not) as you wish for the rest of your time with us - there are no expectations!

The Yoga:

There will be a morning yoga session each day in the morning session to wake us up for the day and and to prepare us for our amazing days together under the sun.

Again, it’s no problem if you haven’t done yoga before, or if you’re an experienced yogi who knows their way around a yoga mat - all of the classes will be completely accessible to all levels of experience.

All classes are optional - it's your holiday!

The Venue:

BHH Naturist Resort is located in the small town of Costa Calma, just on the Jandía Peninsula which makes up the southern area of Fuerteventura.

Tucked away in a quiet area, we will be hosted by the wonderful Karie and our home is a fantastic and comfortable ‘surf-style’ villa consisting of four spacious apartments each with its own kitchen and bathroom and lounge area. It is the perfect place to relax, let go and enjoy the company of your fellow adventuring yogis in total privacy - a real ‘home away from home’.

The spacious sun-terrace is south-facing and surrounds a large (and inviting) solar-heated swimming pool, with plenty of chairs, sunbeds and beanbags to chill out and relax.

The local, unspoilt naturist beaches are just a 15 minute stroll away, as well as access to shops, bars and restaurants. The nearest gay beach is Playa del Mal Nombre, a short drive further south along the coast (or a 10km walk if you want to feel the sand between your toes!)

Getting There:

• Fuerteventura International Airport is easily accessible from major and regional airports across Europe. Located on the east coast of the island, the airport is approximately 63 kms away
• Driving is the most straightforward way and there's plenty of car hire options to choose from in advance or upon arrival - Fuerteventura is a World Heritage Biosphere due to its unique topography and wildlife and so, with our minds on the environment, we'd prefer you to car share if possible
• The local Fuerteventura airport taxis cost €90 and take just under an hour to reach Costa Calma
• The public number 10 bus runs daily (though much less frequently on a Sunday), takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the bus station in Costa Calma and costs €7.55 one-way
• We will always seek to link up guests arriving at similar times in order to split hire and/or travel costs where possible and requested.

The Food:

We'll be looked after by yoga teacher and chef extraordinaire Marc, a professional chef and owner of the award winning Blue Tomato Catering Company. He will provide us with healthy brunches and delicious dinners to keep us fuelled for our amazing adventures.

Meals will be served communally  al-fresco.

This is a holiday so there are no restrictive diets: limited meat and dairy will be available for those who choose though the food will be predominantly vegetarian and Ayurvedic, and a limited amount of wine will be served with dinner for those who would like. Guests are welcome to bring their preferred tipple or make use of the honesty bar onsite.

The Activities!

Included in your price for this yoga adventure holiday are three windsurfing lessons.

Alongside this, and at your own expense, we are able to organise the following additional activities at your choice:

​What to Wear/Bring:

Whilst this adventure retreat is based around naked yoga and social nudity, there will be times when clothing is required, particularly when outside of the property, in the local town and for the activities.

Fuerteventura is the naked island, and Spain has some amazingly progressive laws regarding public nudity, however we politely ask all of guests to adhere to local regulations and customs when outside of the property.

You're welcome to be naked as much or as little as you wish at the property itself, though it's compulsory for the yoga and meditation sessions.

Yoga mats are provided, but no other accessories.

The Canary Islands in January have a high UV index - a high factor sunscreen is a must and, if you prefer to travel light, can be readily purchased everywhere. We also strongly recommend you bring a hat for added protection.

Fuerteventura is known for its year-round breezes and winds which keeps things cooler than they otherwise would be, with the yearly average temperatures for January hovering around 25-28c.

How many guets will there be?

The retreat is limited to a maximum of 9 adventuring yogis.

Pricing:

The price for this extraordinary adventure is based on a single flat fee - the accommodation is allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The price is £925 per person based on sharing.

Single supplements are available for the event and are priced at £1,850 per person.

What's included?*

• 4 nights accommodation in a shared room (minimum of a queen-sized bed)
• Morning yoga practice including meditation.
• Three group windsurfing lesson with qualified instructors - all equipment included.
• Two meals a day including a brunch-style lunches and delicious home-cooked Ayurveda-inspired dinners
• A yoga mat for your practice
• All bedding/towels etc

What's not included:

• Travel to and from the venue e.g. arrival, departure, etc
• Yoga props - if you like to practise with bricks, blocks, or straps please bring your own with you
• Additional activities i.e. dolphin watching, quad biking, etc

The different apartments contained within the resort villa are as follows:

‘Naturist Apartment’

This large 2-bedroom apartment is adjacent to the swimming pool and has panoramic views. One bedroom has a Queen Size Bed and the other a standard Double Bed. In between the bedrooms is the shower room with toilet and sink for washing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, hob, mini oven and microwave and the lounge area has panoramic views opens out onto the sun terrace and pool area and comes with a double sofa bed, complimentary fibre optic WIFI and Smart TV including free access to Netflix.

‘Au Naturel Apartment’

Renovated in 2022, this apartment has one bedroom with a King Size Bed, double shower room with toilet and sink and the kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge-freezer, washing machine, dish washer, a full oven and hob and microwave.

The spacious living area has panoramic views and opens out directly to the sun terrace and swimming pool.

‘Buff Apartment’

This one bedroom apartment comes with a Queen Size Bed. The lounge area has a double sofa bed, Smart TV, complementary fibre optic WIFI and free Netflix access. The bathroom comes with a double-sized shower, toilet, sink and washing machine and the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, hob, mini oven and microwave.

Situated on the lower level of the villa down a small flight of steps, its natural light is supported by windows in the lounge area.

A 20% deposit is required to secure your space with the remaining 80% balance to be cleared four weeks ahead of the start date of this retreat.
